The Inland sofa has a low form and a deep, cushioned seat that is intended to provide optimal comfort.
Designers Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll wanted to pay homage to the mid-century Norwegian design of their predecessors with the architectural shape but bring in the plush cushioning associated with Italian design.
The design is completed with a black powder-coated steel base that lifts the sofa off the ground and, according to Voll, gives it an airy presence.
"The Inland sofa is a lifted installation of comfort hovering above the floor," said Anderssen & Voll co-founder Espen Voll. "With the delicate steel leg base, the floor opens up and runs unhindered."
The Inland sofa is available as a two- or three-seater and the upholstery options include leather, linen and wool.
